Premium Hand-Pulled COE 90 Cane Twists

Hand-Crafted in Bellingham, WA by Glassworks Northwest

Add movement, flow, and professional detail to your glass art! These signature cane twists—affectionately known in my studio as 'Kristi’s Twisties'—are meticulously hand-pulled in my studio using a vitrigraph kiln.
While my best-selling Minzabella Murrini line is named after my cats Minzer ('Star') and Bella ('Beautiful'), these 'beautiful stars' now have a perfect companion in my new line of twists. Together, they bring a professional, kinetic energy to your fused, cast, or blown glass designs, providing the 'heft' and intricate detail that only premium, studio-pulled glass can offer.

Artisan Design & Uncompromising Quality
What sets my twists apart is the attention to detail and complexity of each design. These are the highest quality, very detailed canes designed to provide a bold, sophisticated look in your finished work. Because I pull these to a substantial 1/4 inch thickness, they offer a presence and durability that thinner twists simply cannot match.

I sell these in sets of three, with each cane being approximately 6 inches long (please note: lengths may vary slightly—check the listing photos for scale). This size is a purposeful choice: it provides a generous amount of glass for your projects while being more economical to ship with a lower risk of breakage. I pack every order with extreme care to ensure your "Twisties" arrive intact and ready for your kiln.

Format: Approximately 6-inch canes/sticks.
Size: Substantial thickness, approximately 1/4" thick.

Pro-Tips for Cutting & Use
Nipping: Use sharp wheeled glass nippers. Place the cane squarely between the wheels for a clean, straight break.

Versatile Fusing: You can cut these into small pieces and fuse them into dots—either laid on their side to show the external twist or stood on end to reveal the unique cross-section of the pull.

Creative Uses: Perfect for geometric borders, architectural lines, or adding bold "motion" and color rhythm to jewelry and larger fused pieces.

The Story Behind the Glass
My journey with glass began in 2021, but my love for intricate patterns started years ago while creating complex designs in polymer clay. I’ve spent years mastering the "trial and error" of the vitrigraph kiln to ensure my twists fire beautifully and consistently. Every set of Minzabella Murrini is "slow-made" with intention, providing you with high-quality, compatible glass for your studio.

Shop Policy
Because glass is delicate and shipping can be taxing on the material, all sales are final and I do not accept returns. Please double-check the listing title, photos, and COE compatibility before purchasing to ensure these twists are exactly what you need for your next masterpiece.

Questions? I love talking glass! Please reach out if you have any questions about the canes or how to use them. Happy creating!
