The metal stake is stainless steel and will not rust. I make a brass fitting that I attach to the back of the flower with a super-strong epoxy, and the stake slips into the fitting. The design on the flower is handpainted on and is fused in, and will not scratch or rub off.
Approx size: glass bird is approx. 5 x 3 inches. Stake is 16 inches.
**If you want your plant stake to last a long time, bring it inside if the weather gets extremely cold and/or windy!
